Recently during a radio program Steve Arterburn asked our listeners to consider giving financial support to New Life if they felt God nudging them in that direction. Dave Stoop was doing the radio program with him, and as a Club New Life member himself, Dave challenged the Club New Life members listening to call and make a 13th gift this year. Dave did that last year, and he said he was doing it again this year and he suggested that every Club New Life member who can might want to do the same.

Well, I want to contribute for 2 more months this year. The form sort of allowed that and I am sure that you will use it wisely.

October 2008 on my birthday (19), I was ready to kill myself but decided to attend a New Life Weekend in San Jose. From that point I decided to fight for my life. I read you literature and listened to the radio everyday. I found myself in all of your phone calls. I could not afford to be a member but prayed for your radio show to continue. I also prayed for the people who where giving to be blessed. I felt as if they were paying for me personally. When I financially was able I became a member. Now, I hope my monthly payment helps someone who can not pay themselves. A portion of my monthly tithe I give to New Life. I pray that this Holiday season when we stop a remember how we are blessed and hold our children close to us, remember that someone in our family or even ourselves might need help oneday and maybe if we can give for them or even for that stranger like me that needs this radio ministry so much more than we will every know.
