Whatever it Takes!

As you are preparing for the New Year, have you even thought about what
it will bring? It is a great time to assess and adjust your life and
routine. Is there something that you didn’t get accomplished this year?
What will it take to make the changes?

This year my goal was to incorporate regular exercise into my routine. During the spring and summer I was able to attend a cardio class at church and it provided structure, community, and it was fun! This fall my schedule changed and it ended the participation in the class. It would have been really easy to just give up and not continue, how many of us have done that? My goal would not have been met and I was doing so well!

Now it was time to go into plan B!

That is when I called a personal trainer to help out! I was not willing to give up! She developed a workout plan and we began meeting twice a week. I also decided to get my three kids (all teens) into the action as well, and we all workout together! It is so important to establish healthy habits early in life and they have been enjoying the time together.

What will it take for you to create healthy habits? Spend some time before the New Year to set some goals. This year can be your best year yet! Whatever it takes!
